UP/Start MICA: An Entrepreneurship Competition
The MICA Entrepreneurship Competition and program is made possible by a generous grant from the Ratcliffe Foundation. The mission of MICA's entrepreneurship programming through MICApreneurship and its events is to help creatives start and grow innovative businesses through support, guidance, visibility, feedback, experience, competition and funding of winning concepts.
Graduating students, and exceptionally in this foundation/inaugural year of the program (2015/2016) recent graduates (alumni) can compete for the chance to win grant funding for a new business endeavor or to help an existing, recently founded business grow.

The competition has two key dates and phases:
Phase 1 - Friday February 19, 2016 - POP Up & Pitch Day in Brown
Phase 2 - Thursday April 28, 2016 at the Lazarus Center 3pm
