NYFA THE ARTIST AS ENTREPRENEUR BOOT CAMP

This daylong course teaches the fundamental principles of sustainability—and ultimately profitability—in the arts. This includes classes on finance, law, marketing, and fundraising. Participants will work through a flexible and dynamic “action plan,” which will provide a blueprint for their future project, career, and business goals. Each receives specific feedback from experts in the field as well as their peers in the course.
The New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) 'Artist as Entrepreneur' program provides professional development training to fine artists,
utilizes individual and group learning, and emphasizes community-building among the participants.

Join us by having a table display for your business idea and pitching for the opportunity to win funding towards the start up of your business concept. Top 8 winners from Round 1 will advance to present in the final round of the MICA UP/Start Competition on April 5, 2018.
Applications due by January 22, 2018! The competition is only open to 2017 and 2017 graduates of MICA.
